Frequently Asked Questions

Where is St. Mark’s?St. Mark's

Click on the map at the bottom of this page for complete directions from any location. We are located on Easton Avenue in Bethlehem Township, PA, about a 1/4 mile past the Nancy Run firehouse heading East. The church is on the left, or North side of Easton Ave. From the East, we're on the right, about 2 miles off of the William Penn Hwy. exit of Route 33 South.

Where do I park?

We have a large, flat, parking lot with easy access to the church from all parking spaces.

What doors do I use to enter the building?

As you come in the driveway, you will go to the right. There are double red doors on both sides of the church. Park on either side and use the red doors. Main entrances are handicapped accessible.

Are you handicap accessible?

We are accessible by wheelchair at either entrance and have handicap parking on the east side of the building near the ramp. All of our building is on one level, so the worship space is handicap accessible. However, our bathrooms are not yet ADA compliant.

What type of dress is expected?

We are a "come as you are" congregation.  Many people dress informally at our worship services, especially in the summer. For holidays such as Easter and Christmas, some people dress more formally.

I would like to have my child baptized. What do I do?

Baptism is the public announcement of God's great love and grace for the person being baptised. Baptism is also an entrance rite into the community of believers. Parents make baptismal promises to bring up the child in the Christian faith and community which includes bringing them to God’s house of worship. A first step is to unite with the congregation, and following the baptism it is important to continue to grow in your faith by attending worship and becoming actively involved in the life of the congregation. If you wish to know more about Baptism, please contact the Pastor at

What about weddings?

We have a Wedding Planning Handbook. If you have questions about planning your wedding, please contact the church office and complete the Marriage Data Sheet

What about building usage for community events?

We have a Building Usage Policy, Building Usage Form, and Building Usage Agreement that outline our building usage practices. Please review them and the church calendar, then contact the church office at 610-694-0212 or to confirm the dates.
